Football Season Going Well

The football season has been going great for Ipswich Town and not to sound too negative, but I thought that that would be a sentence I wouldn’t say. We are currently 3^rd in the Npower Championship table with the same points as QPR (leaders) and Cardiff (second) but with a goal difference of 4 and with the strikers on the other teams looking strong, Ipswich has some work to do.

The likes of Connor Wickham, Jason Scotland and Tamas Priskin have got to pull their socks up to make sure we don’t miss out on the top spot by goal difference. Maybe Roy Keane shouldn’t have put Pablo Counago on a season loan to Crystal Palace, we may need all the strikers we have.

The goals may not been coming as thick and fast as I would have hoped but to be unbeaten this early on in the competition is great and will hopefully put some fear into the other teams when they come to visit us as Portman Road.

Let’s hope the season continues in such positive light.
